In 2015, Franke Poland decided to consolidate its supply base of forwarders and logistics partners by entrusting significant volumes to a smaller number of capable and highly professional international providers. In particular, the company was looking for a reliable forwarder for the regular transport of its products from its Polish manufacturing plants to various European destinations. In the past, Franke had been unsatisfied with some forwarders’ key performance indicators, insufficient delivery accuracy, lack of truck capacity and price-performance ratios. Following a scrupulous and detailed evaluation process and request for tenders from international logistics suppliers, Franke choose the customised service solution proposed by Kuehne + Nagel.

The fact that the two partners have been successfully cooperating for years in Luxemburg in the field of contract logistics was a further decision criterion.

Periodic management reports are available to Franke, via Web access, offering detailed breakdowns by site as well as aggregate views on subdivisions, divisions and company level. Kuehne + Nagel monitors all key performance indicators and generates regularly scheduled business reviews.
