Kuehne+Nagel in Poland celebrating 30th anniversary. On this occasion, the company is supporting NGOs
As part of the celebrations, Kuehne+Nagel in Poland will donate 60,000 PLN to charities. There are three projects that can be voted on in order to split the pool of funds. To be able to do so, it is enough to correctly answer the quiz questions about the company. The quiz can be completed until December 9 at www.30latkuehne-nagel.pl. Each participant can submit one entry and select one initiative. Kuehne+Nagel’s donation will be distributed proportionally, according to the votes cast, to UNICEF Poland Association and the WIOSNA Association and its two social projects: Akademia Przyszłości (Academy of the Future) and Szlachetna Paczka (Noble Parcel).
“As a company, we recognise our place in the world and the impact we have on our environment. We are aware that we are not acting alone. We are part of an ecosystem both locally and globally, so as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are also celebrating for others. Today, with the publication of the last of the thirty presented facts about the company’s operations in Poland, we are launching an online quiz. Each user with an e-mail address, after answering the questions correctly, can decide to which organisations the 60,000 PLN will go. I encourage you to take part in the fun and support those in need with us” – said Wojciech Sienicki, Managing Director in Kuehne+Nagel Poland
“Supporting local communities is extremely important for Kuehne+Nagel and its employees. We are glad to observe the enthusiasm and involvement of employees in activities for children from the Akademia Przyszłości or in the preparation of material help for families from the Szlachetna Paczka. We are all the more pleased that the company also remembers about those in need and wants to share it when celebrating its anniversary. It's good to do good together” – said Dominika Langer-Gniłka, Vice President of the Wiosna Association.
“Kuehne+Nagel has been a global partner of UNICEF for several years. As part of the cooperation, the company provides transport and logistics services with which UNICEF can ensure aid to the most remote corners of the world in a very short time. I am glad that the celebration of the company's 30th anniversary is an opportunity to activate this cooperation also on the Polish market. It is very important that we gain another partner in the fight for the welfare of the most vulnerable, children” – said Renata Bem, Deputy General Director of UNICEF Polska.
The conclusion of the anniversary project and communication on the funds distributed as part of the donation will take place on December 16 2022.
